Located in the heart of the Toronto jewelry district, Lanka Gems Inc. was founded in 1994 by Sri Lankan businessman, Mashoor Mujithaba (Muji). The company currently operates both in-office and online.
Founder
Mashoor Mujithaba (Muji) is the Founder and Managing Director of Lanka Gems Inc., established in 1994. Muji has 30+ years of experience in the gem and custom fine jewelry industry, having began his professional journey at the young age of 17 in Rathnapura, Sri Lanka, before migrating to Canada. Muji is a trusted colour gem dealer recognized for his expertise and business relationship management. He is always willing to expand his business circle.
The Team
In recent years, Muji’s son and daughter, Malik and Amra, joined the family gem business. The team is excited to grow and maintain a sustainable operation.
